Rachel Kerslake
Artist and Art Coach

Rachel_2.jpg

As an artist and art coach, my goal is to help others discover their own creative potential. I believe the creative process is just as important as the finished work, and I’m passionate about helping you discover your unique artistic voice.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to deepen your practice, I offer a supportive environment where experimentation and self-expression are encouraged.

In my own work, my primary focus is not on only creating finished pieces, but on experimenting with materials and techniques to push the boundaries of my creativity. My workshop sessions are welcoming and supportive, where students can experiment, take risks, and embrace the journey of discovering their own artistic voice.

I am a practicing artist known for semi-abstract landscapes that evoke memories of time and place, and botanical-inspired works. Through a combination of acrylics, mixed media, and a range of experimental techniques, I create textured, emotive pieces that capture fleeting moments and the essence of nature. I am also studying for a Diploma in Coaching Practice, combining my love of art with a deeper understanding of how to mentor and inspire others.

These courses run in the new Studio 2 at Cheshire Clay Studios in Byley, near Middlewich in Cheshire. https://www.cheshireclay.com/
